Finance Manager

Step into the role of Finance Manager in a dynamic logistics environment in Ghent. You will drive financial strategy, optimize processes, and support key business decisions while collaborating with commercial, operational, and technical teams.

Your responsibilities as a Finance Manager:

• Lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support decision-making
• Monitor profitability, margins, and evaluate investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategy
• Maintain risk registers, internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
• Deal with a broad range of complex financial and strategic issues

About you:

• You have 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and business control
• You have a university degree or higher qualification in Finance/Business (e.g., MBA)
• You have strong expertise in business controlling (must-have); knowledge of accountancy is considered a nice-to-have
• You have experience in logistics, storage, or a similar international industry
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, with strong leadership and analytical skills
• You are able to influence teams and drive results
• You are willing to work mainly from the office as part of the management team, with flexibility for 1 home office day per week
