CFO

For a global company active in the chemical sector, located in the Kempen, we are looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations.

Your Role as CFO:

As CFO, you will report directly to the Group CFO and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operations. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and scalability to support significant growth.

The CFO’s key responsibilities include:

• Build and develop a high-performing finance team with the skills to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax regulations, audits, and other legal obligations
• Implement best-in-class controls and processes; optimize SAP ERP systems to enhance automation and efficiency
• Lead annual budgeting and 5-year business planning processes from design to board approval
• Develop robust reporting frameworks to monitor performance against budgets and key KPIs while driving continuous improvement
• Oversee cash flow management, factoring facilities, receivables/payables optimization, and lender discussions
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, executive leadership, banks, lenders, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Drive initiatives to streamline processes, enhance controls, automate manual operations, and scale infrastructure for growth

The CFO’s profile:

• You have A Master’s degree or MBA; a CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification is an asset
• You have a proven experience as Finance Controller or Director, preferable in the within the chemical, industrial or engineering sector
• You display expertise in financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, controlling, treasury management, and process improvement
• Advanced SAP experience is highly desirable
• Experience partnering with senior leadership teams; Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail and curiosity to understand more; a long-term vision for growth within the company is preferred

• You are energetic, hands-on and ambitious, resilient under pressure with excellent organizational skills and emotional intelligence
• You are passionate about continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results
