A company operating in the consumer services sector is currently looking for a Treasury Analyst to join its Brussels office.
An exciting Treasury Analyst role is available in Brussels. In this role, you will carry out various aspects of Treasury financial analysis and contribute to the improvement of day-to-day processes. You will report to the Treasury Manager.
Your main responsibilities as a Treasury Analyst will include:
- Managing and overseeing global Treasury software applications (such as Kyriba, Fairways, 3SKey)
- Developing and leading treasury workshops, creating training materials, and establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for global entities
- Monitoring and resolving issues related to treasury processes
- Assisting the head of treasury in project cost and resource management
- Supporting the centralization of European Cash Management
- Assisting in the rollout of the SWIFT Net payment hub across Europe, LATAM, and Asia
- Leading the centralization of Investment, Bank Account Management, and Payment modules via Kyriba
- Providing expertise in treasury matters to guide the design, development, and testing of banking and treasury processes (including Kyriba TMS)
- Taking charge of special Treasury projects as required
- Consolidating forecasts from entities and analyzing variances against actuals
- Enhancing cash forecasting to optimize investment and financial returns
- Comparing and evaluating performance between banks and financial products
- Assessing counterparty risk and establishing investment strategy frameworks
- Monitoring financial instruments' risk exposure and improving financial returns
- Managing monthly Treasury Analysis & Reporting
- Designing and maintaining dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
About you:
- You have a Master's degree in finance, economics or business administration
- You have at least 3 to 5 years' experience in this field, with exposure in managing multiple bank accounts, international fund flows, corporate treasury, and banking relationships
- You have strong IT skills: ERP, Excel, Business Intelligence, etc.
- Experience of the TMS treasury management system is a must, KYRIBA and Microsoft expertise are a plus
- Treasury certification (ACT type) is an asset
- Experience of the collateral management system - Fairways is an asset
- You are able to work with a large amount of data
- You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French and Spanish, which is an asset. Any other language is considered a plus
- You have good communication skills, both oral and written, in order to present complex financial data to support decision-making
