For one of our clients, an international company active in the energy sector, we are looking for an HR Officer. You will directly report to the HR Manager and closely work together with a large team of HR Professionals The company, located in Brussels, is easily reachable by public transport and offers homeworking possibilities.

As HR Officer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Drafting employment offers, contracts and legal documents in compliance with the Group’s internal rules, procedures and processes;
  • Supporting the HR Team in handling issues related to newcomers or leavers: creation of accounts, onboarding plans, update of the personal files, closing of accounts where appropriate, etc.;
  • Ensuring the day-to-day administrative management of personnel (working time, absence, leave, recuperation, homeworking, long-term illness, European holidays, etc.);
  • Acting like a trusted point of contact for any HR-related requests from the employees;
  • Providing additional support (e.g.: company car fleet).

The ideal Profile for the job as HR Officer:

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree (HR, Communication, Public Relations, Work and Organisational Psychology, Law) and a strong interest for HR-related matters. A first experience in a similar role will be considered as an asset;
  • You have a good knowledge of the Belgian labour law;
  • You are fluent in English and you have an excellent knowledge of French and/or Dutch;
  • You are self-motivated, highly energetic and positive;
  • You are eager to learn, rigorous, detail-minded and solution-oriented;
  • You have strong communication skills (both written and spoken) and a can-do attitude.
