HR Generalist (Part-time 60%)

For an international yet human-sized company with head office located in Brussels Centre, we are looking for a HR Generalist (Part-time - 60%). In this role as a HR Generalist (Part-time - 60%), you will be responsible for the whole employee life cycle for 2 countries, and handle a variety of administrative HR processes. You will work in a European HR team and will report directly to the Head of HR based in Brussels.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for:

  • The HR Generalist will be responsible for:Working on payroll for Belgium and the Netherlands, together with the local external partners
  • Managing the benefits (insurances, lunch vouchers, fleet and mobility plan management)
  • Acting as a central point of contact on HR-related matters such as maternity, sickness leave, contract & payroll issues, benefits, training needs, etc.
  • Taking care of on- and off-boarding processes
  • Ensuring a regular booking of HR policies and employee documentation in the HR system, when
  • necessary
  • Supporting the Head of HR on transversal HR tasks and projects (digitalization, optimization of HR processes, harmonization of employee benefits)

The profile of the ideal HR Generalist:

  • You have a degree in HR and/or a first experience in a similar HR position (HR Administrator, HR
  • Assistant, HR Operations Specialist, HR Generalist).
  • You are fluent in English, French and/or Dutch. A good knowledge of another European language is a plus.
  • You have a good knowledge of the Belgian Labour law. An experience with any other European social law is a plus but not a must.
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills, and you are proactive.
  • You are service-minded and love building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You can work independently while enjoying working in a team.
