Our client, a leading global organization in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a new HR Business Partner. Our client operates in over 30 countries In Belgium and the Netherlands, you will collaborate with approximately 60 employees. We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team in Brussels and the Netherlands. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, solution-oriented, and people-focused HR team. As the HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor and hands-on HR professional, supporting the business leaders and employees in Belgium and the Netherlands. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and with a dotted line to our Chief People Officer, you will collaborate on global HR initiatives while addressing local HR needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, driving workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational design.
  • HR Administration: Handle all administrative HR tasks, including recruitment, policies, contracts, local compliance, health and safety, case management, and pension administration.
  • Project Leadership: Implement global HR projects and initiatives locally, such as HR software rollouts, process harmonization, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Culture & Development: Build trustful relationships with leaders and foster a culture of open communication, feedback, and employee development.
  • Advisory Role: Act as a consultant to senior managers on employment-related topics, organizational structure, and salary structures, while ensuring compliance with local laws.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR colleagues across global locations to develop and implement best practices tailored to local needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A first strong experience in a mature HR organization, with a strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with senior leaders and employees.
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: A problem-solver who focuses on delivering results.
  • Project Management: Experience implementing new HR projects, such as system rollouts or process improvements.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Dutch, and French (written and spoken) is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly between Amsterdam and Brussels.
  • Cultural Awareness: Appreciation of cultural differences and the ability to adapt to local needs while implementing global strategies.
