HR Business Partner

For one of our clients, an international company active in the services sector, we are looking for a motivated HR Business Partner. As their next HR Business Partner, you will be a strategic partner to business leaders and managers to ensure HR strategies and initiatives and support organisational success. You will act on a Benelux scope and work hand in hand with 3 other HR Business Partners active on their respective scope, while reporting to the HR Director. The offices are located in the Northern part of Brussels and are easy to access both by public transport and by car.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary HR advisor for the Benelux region, providing strategic and operational support to employees, ensuring exceptional employee relations experience.
  • Leading and implementing corporate HR programs, initiatives and solutions that support business growth (people development, leadership, etc.).
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with business leaders and managers to provide tailored HR solutions where necessary, and encourage continuous improvement to get the best from their teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with local labour laws and HR policies.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes for the Benelux region.
  • Collaborating with regional and corporate HR teams to align strategies and share best practices.

The ideal candidate for the HR Business Partner:

  • You are qualified as a HR professional, and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, or in a HR Generalist position
  • You have a very good knowledge of English, combined with a good knowledge of either French and/or Dutch
  • You have experience advising business managers on performance, and with general employee relations issues
  • You can demonstrate great creative thinking, and problem-solving skills to provide unbiased solutions
  • You have good understanding of local employment legislation
  • You can demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills with experience of building effective relationships
  • You have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, combined with a solid business acumen
