HR Assistant
This international non-profit organisation, located in the heart of Brussels, brings together professionals from across the globe in a dynamic and mission-driven setting. As their HR department faces a busy period, they are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the team for a 6-month assignment, with potential for a longer-term collaboration.
What you’ll do as a HR Assistant:
As HR Assistant, you will support daily HR operations and play a key role in the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to contract management.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and follow-up of employment contracts and PO creation
- Handling HR-related invoices and liaising with internal teams and suppliers
- Coordinating onboarding procedures for new hires: equipment, first-day planning, documentation
- Acting as a point of contact for new employees and ensuring a smooth integration process
- Supporting the HR team with follow-up and tracking of administrative HR files
- Contributing to internal HR projects and general coordination tasks as needed
What you bring as a HR Assistant:
We’re looking for someone who enjoys supporting people and processes, and who is confident managing multiple priorities in an organised and structured way.
Your profile:
- First experience in an HR or administrative support role, ideally in an international environment
- Fluent in English, with a good level of French or Dutch
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with contracts, invoices, and spreadsheets
- Reliable, structured, and a good team player
- Proactive, with a hands-on attitude and service-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of HR tools or platforms is a plus
