Payroll employee

One of our clients located in Brussels is immediately looking for a part-time employee in the payroll department (50% - 20 hours). You are familiar with law and will be responsible for the daily follow-up of the payroll administration for companies that (wish to) operate with personnel on the Belgian and Luxembourgish markets and need administrative and communicative support.

Tasks of the Payroll employee:

  • Monthly follow-up and processing of wage and salary statements in a payroll system and in cooperation with the social secretariat and internal colleague (lawyer)
  • Multilingual communication between clients, Belgian authorities and partners
  • Correspondence with and initial advice on salary-related questions from payroll clients
  • Translations
  • Drafting invoices for our services (quarterly)

Profile of the Payroll employee:

  • Good language skills: German and Dutch. French is a plus
  • (A first) experience with online payroll processing systems is a plus (SD Worx)
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • Notions and/ or willingness to familiarise oneself with payroll-related topics (monthly payroll processing, payroll data entry, employment contract, etc.)
  • Strong teamwork and multitasking skills
  • Initiative and enjoy working independently
