We are seeking a highly analytical and dynamic Compensation & Benefits (Comp & Ben) Manager to join our client’s team in the services industry (Zaventem). This leadership position will be responsible for leading and managing a payroll team, optimizing administrative processes, and driving improvements in payroll and HR processes. You will also provide strategic advice to the management team on compensation matters and oversee reporting processes.
Your tasks as Comp & Ben Manager:
• Leading the Payroll Team: Supervise and guide the payroll team, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll processing.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve administrative and payroll HR processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strategic Advice: Advise senior management on compensation trends, policies, and best practices.
• Reporting: Oversee the preparation of regular reports related to payroll, compensation, and benefits to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Project Leadership: Take ownership of key projects related to compensation and benefits, from design to implementation.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding compensation, benefits, and payroll.
• Data Analysis: Analyze payroll and compensation data, identifying trends and providing insights to support decision-making.
The ideal profile of the Comp & Ben Manager:
• Experience: Proven experience in payroll, compensation & benefits, and HR processes. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team and drive projects to completion.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and use insights for process improvements.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a high level of proficiency in English.
• Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data and create reports efficiently.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to different stakeholders.
