A first ranking services company with its headquarters around Brussels, is currently looking for a self employed interim Internal Controls Project Manager for a period of approximately 6 months.
The Interim Manager’s key responsibilities will include:
- Putting in place all processes and controls leading to ensure that internal and external financial reporting is complete, accurate and mitigating the risks embedded in the company work streams;
- Scoping the areas involved in internal and external financial reporting items;
- Evaluating risks and existing controls for processes, defining additional controls to address risks;
- Assessing design and operating effectiveness of controls and remediating possible issues by end of assignment.
The key qualifications required for this interim Internal Controls Project management job:
The ideal candidate has a high level of specialized functional area expertise in internal controls over financial reporting. The candidate must have a proven previous successful experience in similar projects. He/she has a solid understanding of requirements related to the Sarbanes-Oxley act. The perfect candidate has persuasive communication and stakeholder management are key in this project. The candidate is fluent in English, other languages are an asset.
