A leader in urban real estate development with operations spread over Europe is urgently looking for a temporary, self employed Finance Manager to take on the Finance Department of their activities in Luxemburg for a period of 3 to 6 months.
The Interim Manager’s key responsibilities will include:
Manage the finance department in Luxemburg, which currently counts 4 people;
Report directly to the CEO of Luxemburg and the Finance and Administration teams of the group based in Brussels;
Assist in finalising the creation of a German subsidiary and put in place the reporting and management system;
Manage and control the budget process and all adaptations related to the feasibility studies;
Be responsible for maintaining and developing the relations with the banks that may finance the projects;
Negotiate the contracts and structure the financing process;
Report on a regular basis to the banks on the evolution of the projects;
Be responsible for structuring the investments and manage all tax related matters with the external advisors;
Ensure the daily financial management of all companies set up in Luxemburg and ensure the control of all accounting, treasury and audit related matters.
The key qualifications required for this interim Finance management job:
The candidate must have a proven experience as a Finance Manager in an investment driven business such as real estate, infrastructure or engineering related businesses etc. he/she must have solid experience in structuring financial deals and interacting on a regular basis with banks and financial institutions and is fully hands-on and able to control and actively participate in the reporting and budgeting process. The ideal candidate has a participative and cooperative management style and interact regularly with his/her team. He/she communicates clearly, is well organised and able to set clear objectives for the team. The perfect candidate speaks fluent French and English and is available asap and able to start before the end of October.
