A Belgian industrial/manufacturing company based in Wallonia is currently looking for a self-employed Interim Training Manager for an assignment of minimum 6 months.

The Interim Training Manager’s key responsibilities will include:

• Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with HR Business partners
• Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs
• Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organizations goals
• Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees
• Select and manage training resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training
• Contribute, together with procurement department, to the creation of a master agreement regulating the contractual relationships with training vendors
• Schedule training sessions, organize information technology and other equipment, and manage course enrolment
• Effectively manage the training budget and monitors Return on Investment (evaluates the effectiveness of training strategies to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance)
• Drive the company values (Result – Collaboration - Sustainability) and philosophy (The People company excelling at producing and sell steel together) through all training and development activities
• Keep abreast of training trends and best practices. Specialise in the steel industry and keep up-to-date by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars
• Contribute to the implementation of the Training Management Software selected by company Group, including communication and change management activities

The key qualifications required for this interim management job:

You have necessarily a proven experience in a similar role. Experience in an industrial environment is a must. You have a sound using Microsoft Suite, at ease with figures and reporting tools (Excel ++) and strong communication skills. You have a strong understanding of business goals, innovative, self-driven, strong decision-makers and outstanding facilitators of learning and change!
Fluency in French and English is required. You are available as soon as possible.
