Our client, a company active in the Food industry, in the region of Charleroi is looking for a self-employed (Freelance) CAPEX project manager (OPERATION profile) for a period of minimum 3 months.

The CAPEX Project Manager key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for CAPEX initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with CAPEX projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address challenges to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, vendors, and senior management, to provide regular project updates.
• Evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure all CAPEX projects comply with relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain best practices for quality assurance and control.

The key qualifications required for the role of CAPEX project manager:

• The candidate should have a very solid track record of similar experiences as CAPEX Project Manager, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of industrial operations, particularly in food production processes.
• Solid project management and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of budget management, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You need to be fluent in French.
