A leading company in the services sector, based in the south of Brussels, is looking for an experienced Freelance Payroll & Personnel Administration Specialist for a 4-month minimum interim assignment. This part-time role requires expertise in Hard HR, payroll, and personnel administration within a white-collar environment. Fluency in French or Dutch, along with English, is required. International experience is a huge plus.

The Freelance Payroll & Personnel Administration Specialist’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Overseeing personnel administration, including contracts, benefits, and employee records.
  • Ensuring adherence to Hard HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for employees and management on payroll and administrative matters.
  • Supporting HR reporting and liaising with external payroll providers when needed.

Key qualifications of the Freelance Payroll & Personnel Administration Specialist required for this role:

The ideal candidate has a strong background in payroll, personnel administration, and Hard HR, with experience in a white-collar environment. A detail-oriented professional with excellent knowledge of Belgian labor law and payroll regulations will thrive in this role. Fluency in French or Dutch, along with English, is essential. International experience is a significant advantage, particularly in a multinational or cross-border payroll context. Prior experience in interim assignments is a plus.
