HR Assistant

For one of our clients, a well-established international law firm based in Brussels, we are currently recruiting an HR Assistant to support the HR team in daily operations and contribute to a smooth and high-quality employee experience. This is a great opportunity for an organised, proactive and people-oriented profile who enjoys working in a structured environment with a very good atmosphere, a flat hierarchy, and real growth perspectives.

Your responsibilities as HR Assistant

  • Supporting the HR team with day-to-day HR administration
  • Preparing HR documents (contracts, amendments, certificates, onboarding documents, etc.)
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Managing employee files and ensuring data accuracy in HR systems
  • Supporting recruitment processes: interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, coordination with managers
  • Assisting with HR reporting, trackers and follow-up of HR processes
  • Helping organise internal HR initiatives and events (trainings, team events, well-being initiatives)
  • Acting as a first point of contact for basic HR-related questions (in collaboration with the HR team)

Your profile as HR assistant

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR Assistant / HR Administration role (ideally within a law firm or professional services environment)
  • Fluent in French, Dutch and English (spoken and written)
  • Highly organised, discreet and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong MS Office skills; experience with HR tools/systems is a plus
  • Reliable, service-minded and able to work both independently and as part of a team
