R&D Project Engineer

A global leader company active in Automotive industry, based in the Antwerp region, is looking for a R&D Project Engineer to support the R&D and Product development team.

As R&D Project Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing the demands from the clients to match the best product from the portfolio.

• In case the demand is specific and not existing in portfolio, commissioning, and preparing the most efficient product solution proposal in line with project budgeting.

• Liaising with the different sites (remote) to make sure the project would run on time and efficiently.

• Developing the product according to the client

• Being the person of contact/ translator/negotiator for the client and the plant.

• Working together with the technology team, providing advisory and support.

• Making sure the different departments such as technical sales, marketing, procurement, and quality are well involved and working in close harmony with those.

The ideal candidate as R&D Project Engineer is required to have a Master's in Mechanical or Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering, minimum 5 years of industrial experience. Fluency in Dutch and English is required. French will be a bonus.
