OT SYSTEM& COMPLIANCE ENGINEER

An international company in the chemical industry (Antwerp North) is looking for an OT System & Compliance Engineer. in this role, you will support industrial automation systems, ensuring OT hardware/software safety and reliability. You will lead diverse automation projects, work with internal/external teams, and help develop local and cross-site procedures.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting on-site teams with the daily management of OT systems used in industrial automation.
• Assisting with drafting technical specifications for new automation solutions and adapting local procedures for system use and maintenance.
• Acting as a point of contact for suppliers, external partners, and authorities, especially regarding system compliance and cybersecurity.
• Facilitating risk assessment workshops and ensuring clear communication across departments.
• Collaborating closely with other automation experts across multiple sites

About you:

• You hold a Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Electronics, Automation or ICT.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, French is a plus
• You are hands-on, structured, and an excellent communicator.
• While not mandatory, a background in cybersecurity is highly valued and considered a significant advantage.
