Advanced FP&A & Finance Transformation Analyst
For an international organization based in Ghent, we are looking for a senior finance professional to join the FP&A team and take ownership of financial planning, performance analysis and finance transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting and Business stakeholders, providing valuable insights while helping improve reporting, forecasting and financial processes across the organization.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze FTEs, personnel costs, operating expenses, budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate monthly closing activities and translate financial results into clear management reporting.
- Prepare financial analyses and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to optimize, automate and streamline FP&A processes.
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of financial planning and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with BI teams on data integration, reporting solutions and financial data flows.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial master data, mappings and reporting structures.
- Develop and improve cash flow and balance sheet forecasting.
- Support strategic projects, including M&A, integrations and finance transformation initiatives.
- Explore and implement AI solutions to improve efficiency and automation within FP&A.
- Act as a key interface between Accounting, Business Units and Finance.
- Support reporting and analysis for senior leadership and investors.
- Provide guidance and support to other finance team members on Group processes and best practices.
Your profile
- You have 10+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Financial Planning or a similar finance role.
- You have experience working in an international or Group environment, ideally with exposure to consolidation.
- You have participated in the implementation or optimization of CPM, BI or financial reporting tools.
- You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field.
- Experience with M&A, integrations or transformation projects is a strong asset.
- You have a strong interest in AI, automation and digitalization within Finance.
- You are analytical, structured and comfortable taking ownership of processes from A to Z.
- You have a strong focus on data quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.
- You are able to present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- You have advanced Excel skills and experience building complex financial models.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Pigment, SAP BO or other CPM/BI tools is an advantage.
- You have experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or an equivalent.
- You have knowledge of Belgian GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of ISOC/VAT is a plus.
- You are fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
- You are autonomous, pragmatic and well organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
