Business Controller

For an Interim Management assignment, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller in Aalst to join the Finance team of a company in logistics. As Interim Business Controller, you will support the Finance team across a broad range of controlling activities, including financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will work closely with management and key stakeholders, contribute to investment analysis and business cases, and support ongoing Finance digitalisation and process improvements. The assignment offers the opportunity to bring your expertise to an established Finance environment and make an immediate contribution to key business and financial activities.

Key responsibilities :

• Manage reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Support management and internal stakeholders with ad-hoc analyses and business cases.
• Prepare multi-year budgets and forecasts and formulate recommendations to optimise financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational excellence.
• Provide financial support across the business and contribute to the continuity of the controlling activities during the assignment.

• You have a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable working with financial data and business cases.
• You are proactive, structured and hands-on.
• You take responsibility for your scope and are able to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• You communicate confidently with management and business stakeholders.
• You have an interest in digitalisation and process improvement.
