Accounting Manager

Your responsibilities as an Accounting Manager :

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process.
• Oversee general ledger and subledger accounting, including AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany and bank accounting.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations, compliance with accounting standards and strong internal controls.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, external audits, VAT and corporate tax activities.
• Support treasury operations, cash flow forecasting and banking processes.
• Act as the SAP S/4HANA key user while driving automation and process improvements.
• Coach, develop and motivate the accounting team to ensure high performance and collaboration.

About you :

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• You bring at least 10 years of accounting experience, including team leadership responsibilities.
• You have strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting and audit processes.
• You are familiar with Belgian VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• You have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus.
• You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively.
• You are fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is considered an advantage.
