Prevention Advisor Level1 NL/FR

An international company active in the food industry and based in Nivelles is looking for a Prevention Advisor Level1 to join their team. The prevention Advisor will report to the CEO.

In this role as Prevention Advisor Level1, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Identify, evaluate, and analyse risks related to health, safety, and well-being at work through regular assessments and data-driven insights.
• Develop, implement, and monitor both the Global Prevention Plan and Annual Action Plan to ensure ongoing improvement in workplace conditions.
• Advise senior management on enhancements to working conditions by providing clear recommendations based on best practices and legal requirements.
• Conduct thorough safety audits and field visits to verify compliance with established rules while identifying areas for further improvement.
• Collaborate closely with the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPPT), employee representatives, and various departments to foster open communication and shared objectives.
• Participate in significant projects such as the commissioning of new installations, ensuring that all preventive measures are integrated from the outset.

About you:

• Certified as a Level 1 Prevention Advisor with recognised credentials meeting Belgian legal standards.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial, logistics, or production settings where risk management is paramount.
• You speak Dutch/French and English fluently.
• You have an analytical mind and excellent communication skills.
