Business Unit Controller

Take the lead in shaping financial performance within an international company active in the petroleum industry in the Antwerp region. As a Business Unit Controller, you play a key role in connecting financial insights with business strategy. Responsibilities

• Manage the financial performance of an entire Business Unit.
• Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and long-term strategy.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead forecasting activities and financial closing processes.
• Develop management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
• Strengthen governance, controls, and financial processes.
• Support strategic projects and business transformations.
• Translate financial data into actionable business decisions.

About the Candidate

• You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• You bring at least 10 to 15 years of experience in business controlling.
• You understand the connection between strategy, operations, and financial performance.
• You transform complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations.
• You have strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and financial analysis.
• You build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• You take initiative and are comfortable challenging and influencing decisions.
• You communicate clearly and effectively in Dutch and English.
• You are proficient in SAP S/4HANA and Power BI.
