Credit Risk Analyst

As a Credit Risk Analyst in Antwerp, you will assess a diverse range of financing requests from Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg companies, combining financial analysis with sound risk judgement. Your responsibilities as a Credit Risk Analyst :

• Assess credit applications and perform financial and structural risk analyses, providing clear recommendations.
• Evaluate KYC/AML risks and conduct Customer Due Diligence on Benelux customers.
• Present credit proposals to local and international credit committees and progressively take ownership of credit decisions within your authority.
• Assess a broad range of equipment financing transactions, clients and financing structures.
• Contribute to internal projects, including initiatives involving Artificial Intelligence, alongside reporting activities.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance and other internal stakeholders.

Your profile :

• You have at least 2 years of relevant credit risk analysis experience in B2B within the financial sector.
• You have a bachelor's degree in an economic field and a strong interest in finance and economics.
• You have strong analytical and synthesis skills, with attention to detail and excellent writing abilities.
• You are organised, accurate and able to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• You are a proactive team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
• You are adaptable, eager to learn and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
• You have a strong sense of integrity and a clear focus on responsible risk management and fair customer treatment.
