Interim Leasing & Structured Finance Manager

Are you an experienced finance leader with a passion for driving sustainable growth in an international manufacturing environment? For a leading manufacturing company, located in Edegem, we are looking for an Interim Finance Director to join the Senior Finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial health and strategic direction.

As the Finance Director, you will lead a dedicated finance team, including Controlling, Accounting, and related functions, while acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director or CFO.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Safeguard financial integrity, enable profitable growth, and provide forward-looking insights that drive decision-making.
• Translate business strategy into actionable financial plans, challenge assumptions constructively, and support key decisions on investments, pricing, and restructuring initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes while delivering insightful analysis on revenue, costs, cash flow, and operational drivers.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with group policies and statutory requirements while maintaining robust internal controls.
• Drive cash discipline, optimise working capital, oversee liquidity planning, and evaluate major projects rigorously.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and corporate policies while mitigating financial risks effectively.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team, sponsor process improvements, and champion digitalisation initiatives.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (a recognised accounting qualification is a plus).
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in complex international organisations.
• Expertise in financial planning & analysis, controlling, accounting, cash management, and internal controls.
• Strong affinity with manufacturing or industrial environments; experience with standard costing and capital-intensive operations is highly valued.
• Advanced ERP and analytical skills; experience with finance transformation is an advantage.
• You are a strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and execution discipline
• Able to connect financial data to operational realities.
• You speak English fluently, knowledge of Dutch or other relevant local languages is strongly preferred.
