VP - External Reporting
Are you an experienced banking professional with a strong background in external and regulatory reporting? As VP - External Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant and high-quality regulatory reporting for a Swiss banking branch. Based in Brussels, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to regulatory projects and provide valuable insight into evolving reporting requirements within a complex international environment.
Responsibilities as a VP - External Reporting :
- Oversee and review Swiss regulatory reporting covering statistical, liquidity and capital requirements.
- Ensure robust controls, data quality and adherence to regulatory governance standards.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal and business stakeholders on regulatory reporting.
- Support regulatory projects, business changes and restructurings from a reporting and compliance perspective.
- Advise stakeholders on the impact of new business activities and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure reporting processes and knowledge remain up to date.
About the candidate :
- You have around 5 years of experience in banking, with a strong understanding of banking products.
- You have solid knowledge of accounting and regulatory reporting, including IFRS, capital, liquidity and statistical reporting.
- You have experience working with regulators.
- You are deadline-driven, detail-oriented and comfortable working with large volumes of financial data.
- You can analyse complex information, draw clear conclusions and communicate them effectively.
- You have experience in a fast-paced, complex and highly controlled international environment.
- You are analytical, curious and comfortable challenging existing processes when appropriate.
- You have advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or AI tools is an advantage.
- You have experience with reporting systems, processes and controls.
- You are fluent in English and have a good command of at least French or Dutch.
