Category Manager - Wholesale

Are you passionate about category development, negotiation and commercial performance? As a Category Manager - Wholesale, you will shape the product assortment, identify new market opportunities and build strong supplier relationships. Based in Antwerp, you will play a key role in driving sales, profitability and sustainable growth within the wholesale sector.

Your responsibilities :

• Develop and optimise the product assortment throughout its lifecycle.
• Drive sales, margins and product turnover through effective category strategies and performance monitoring.
• Identify market trends and translate data into actionable growth opportunities.
• Negotiate competitive agreements, pricing and promotions while building long-term supplier partnerships.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing and coordinate purchase support and replenishment activities.
• Improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency.

About you :

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and experience in purchasing, category management or commercial negotiations.
• You are analytical, commercially minded and confident in negotiations.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and French and have a good command of English.
• You are proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership and working with different stakeholders.
• Experience in FMCG, food, beverages or convenience, along with knowledge of Excel and ERP systems, is an advantage.
