Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity is available for a Financial Controller to join a fast-paced and growing organization within the industrial sector, based in Brussels. Your responsibilities as a Financial Controller :

• Partner with business and management teams to analyze performance and key financial drivers.
• Deliver relevant financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Manage month-end closings, including margin analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and accounting records.
• Support compliance activities, external audits, and credit risk monitoring.
• Contribute to the optimization of finance processes, reporting tools, and automation initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to reporting, consolidation, and system improvements.

About you :

• You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in audit, financial controlling, or corporate finance.
• You bring strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and controlling practices.
• You are an advanced Excel user and have experience with ERP and reporting tools.
• You have an interest in technology, automation, and process improvement.
• You communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• You are autonomous, analytical, proactive, and results-oriented.
• You thrive in an international and fast-paced environment.
• You are fluent in French and/or English; additional languages are a plus.
