Financial Controller

Your responsibilities as a Financial Controller :

• Coordinate the monthly closing process and ensure accurate, complete, and reliable financial reporting.
• Support daily finance operations and deliver timely management reporting through Power BI.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts while analysing margins, variances, and financial performance.
• Partner with Business Units to provide financial insights and support business reviews.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain high accounting standards.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to minimise financial risks and improve data quality.
• Coordinate external audits and assist with annual accounts and corporate tax filings.
• Contribute to finance digitalisation projects and continuously improve financial processes.
• Report directly to the Finance Manager.

About you :

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar finance role.
• You have solid accounting knowledge combined with strong analytical and reporting skills.
• You are experienced in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial consolidation.
• You are familiar with annual accounts and corporate taxation.
• You have experience with Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
• You work accurately, think analytically, and easily identify financial discrepancies.
• You are proactive, well organised, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
• You communicate effectively and collaborate easily with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You have experience with Microsoft Business Central or other ERP systems (an advantage).
