Junior Controller

What you’ll do as a junior controller :

As a Junior Controller, you will work alongside experienced finance professionals and support the company's financial performance through a variety of responsibilities.

• Analyse monthly financial results and investigate variances between actual performance, budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor production costs, operating expenses and profit margins to support effective cost control.
• Prepare financial reports and management dashboards to provide clear insights into business performance.
• Support monthly closing activities and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with the finance and operations teams.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities and investigate the financial drivers behind production performance.
• Develop and improve Excel reports and financial analysis tools.
• Assist the Senior Controller with ad hoc analyses, reporting improvements and business projects.

What we’re Looking For as a Junior Controller :

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• A first professional experience in audit, financial controlling.
• A genuine interest in industrial controlling, cost accounting and financial performance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Good knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP or another ERP system is an advantage.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly and collaborate with non-financial stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English, French and a good command of Dutch.
