Financial Manager

Our client is a well-established Belgian industrial company, internationally recognized and based in Wallonia.

Our client is committed to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. To support its continued growth, they are looking for a Financial Manager to lead the finance function and contribute to the company’s strategic development.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Manager

• Oversee general accounting, monthly and annual closings, statutory reporting, and external audits.
• Lead and oversee transfer pricing documentation and compliance
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, financing activities, and banking relationships.
• Supervise insurance matters and financial risk management, including foreign exchange and hedging activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
• Drive process improvements, ERP developments, and finance digitalization initiatives.

The Ideal Financial Manager

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and corporate law
• Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills
• Solid experience in treasury management, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Fiori is a strong asset
• Interest in digital transformation and AI applications in finance
• Advanced Excel and ERP expertise, with a strong focus on process optimisation
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
