Head of Finance & Accounting

Your responsibilities as a Head of Finance & Accounting :

As the right hand of the CFO, you will have groupwide responsibility over accounting, financial processes, financial reporting, tax management and internal control. You will also manage various ad hoc projects with a focus on streamlining and optimizing processes and systems. You manage a team of 2 corporate controllers and work closely together with the country finance managers.

• You oversee the accounting for all countries.
• You are responsible for the consolidated financial figures (BE GAAP) for the group.
• You coordinate the completion of financial reports and management reporting to the Board of Directors (gathering input, tracking timelines, providing insights).
• You lead the group-wide budgeting and forecasting process.
• You manage the financial calendar (audits, legal deadlines and reporting) and ensure everything is well organized and timely prepared.
• You take care of tax and transfer pricing matters, ensuring optimal and compliant tax structures.
• You put in place good internal control processes.
• You manage relationships with auditors.

You will play a key role in the further development and growth of the company:

• You make sure newly acquired companies are integrated swiftly in the financial reporting.
• You drive the improvement and automation of financial processes and systems (like Microsoft applications, Lucanet, Power BI, etc.) to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• You work closely with the CFO to shape the future of the finance organization.

About you :

• You bring more than 10 years of solid experience in finance and accounting, ideally within an international or multi-entity environment.
• You have a strong passion for optimizing and improving financial processes to increase efficiency and performance.
• You possess an in-depth understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and best accounting practices.
• You enjoy developing accounting organizations, strengthening teams, and implementing continuous improvements.
• You have a strong affinity with IT and can demonstrate successful experience implementing or enhancing accounting and financial systems.
• You combine a collaborative mindset with natural leadership, allowing you to inspire teams and build strong relationships across the business.
