FP&A Manager
Drive strategic financial performance in a multinational insurance environment as an FP&A Manager, combining group-wide planning, executive-level insights and business partnering in Brussels.
Your responsibilities as an FP&A Manager :
- Lead Group-wide financial planning, target-setting and forecasting cycles.
- Consolidate business inputs and assess performance against budgets and strategic objectives.
- Prepare clear, high-level performance reviews and recommendations for senior management and governance bodies.
- Act as a strategic sparring partner to CFOs and executives, challenging assumptions and identifying performance opportunities and risks.
- Drive peer and industry benchmarking to provide an external perspective on business performance.
- Lead cross-functional projects and support finance transformation and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Risk, Accounting, Investor Relations and Capital Management to integrate financial insights into strategic decisions.
- Support key governance forums with forward-looking analysis, clear recommendations and executive decision support.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to a strong, high-performing FP&A culture.
About you :
- You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Commercial Sciences or a related field.
- You bring at least 8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business controlling, performance management, corporate finance or management reporting, within insurance or financial services.
- You have a strong understanding of financial planning, IFRS and insurance performance drivers; knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II is an asset.
- You can turn complex financial information into clear strategic insights and actionable recommendations for senior management.
- You have a strong analytical mindset, sound business judgement and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
- You demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level.
- You are a role model and change agent who enjoys coaching others and helping shape a forward-looking FP&A function.
- You are fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is an asset.
