Europe Treasury Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced treasury professional to take on the role of Treasury Manager and lead treasury activities across European operations. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across liquidity management, banking, financing, financial risk management, credit management, collections, and working capital optimization.

Reporting directly to the Global Treasurer and working closely with the Europe Finance Manager, the Treasury Manager will collaborate with finance, legal, tax, accounting, and banking partners throughout Europe. This role also includes the leadership and development of a regional treasury team while supporting the execution of treasury initiatives across multiple countries.

Responsibilities of the Treasury Manager :

• Act as the senior treasury lead for European operations and partner closely with finance leadership.
• Manage, coach, and develop a regional treasury team.
• Support treasury transformation, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, lessors, and credit insurers.
• Oversee banking services, financing facilities, guarantees, and treasury operations.
• Support working capital optimization and financing solutions.
• Coordinate customer credit, collections, and credit insurance programs.
• Lead cash management activities, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
• Monitor cash positioning and ensure adequate funding across operations.
• Support liquidity optimization initiatives and funding strategies.
• Contribute to foreign exchange, interest rate, and energy risk management activities.
• Monitor financial market developments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure treasury governance, compliance, and internal controls are maintained.
• Support audits, banking compliance requirements, and regulatory requests.
• Participate in strategic projects, ERP initiatives, and treasury-related transformation programs.

About you :

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• You bring at least 8 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or commercial banking across Europe.
• You have strong expertise in cash management, financing, banking relationships, and financial risk management.
• You are comfortable engaging with senior finance leaders, lenders, and financial institutions.
• You have experience leading teams and driving process improvements.
• You are proficient in English, Dutch, and French.
• You have experience with SAP and treasury management systems or similar tools.
• You thrive in an international and fast-paced business environment.
