A fantastic opportunity has opened up in the center of Brussels for a Business Development & Marketing Assistant within a dynamic international law firm. You will play a key role in supporting client engagement and marketing initiatives across Europe, working closely with lawyers, peers, and teams across different offices. The Business Development & Marketing Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the production and distribution of legal updates for clients, including formatting, approval workflows, website posting, and tracking readership.
    Supporting the planning and execution of client events: managing invitations, registrations, materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintaining the CRM system: tracking client activities, updating contact records, generating reports, and supporting users.
  • Collaborating with the Digital Communications team to update website content and implement social media campaigns.
  • Supporting the creation of the European marketing newsletter and regular marketing reports.
  • Managing regional sponsorships for conferences and seminars.
  • Drafting and updating lawyer biographies and coordinating professional photo sessions.
  • Conducting research on clients, industries, and competitors.
  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives with departments such as HR, Recruiting, Pro Bono, and Inclusion.
  • Handling administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.

The ideal Business Development & Marketing Assistant will have:

  • Excellent written and proofreading skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure while maintaining high standards.
