Meet Nadia

After a reorganization at my previous employer where I had worked for 17 years, I took some time to decide for myself which path I wanted to take with my career. Job content remained important of course, but I wanted the overall picture to be right when embarking on a new adventure. Above all, I wanted to be part of a smaller structure, within an organization where there is room for empathy and whose values match mine. When Christophe approached me via LinkedIn to suggest an accountant role at EIT Food, I very quickly clicked with him. Unlike some recruiters, he really took the time to get to know me: he asked the right questions to properly understand my background, but above all showed interest in who I was as a person and what aspects were important to me in my career choice.   

After years of finance experience, my preference was no longer for a pure accounting job. Thanks to Christophe's mediation, I was eventually offered the position of Finance Transformation Lead, which interested me immediately.

The whole recruitment process took a bit longer than usual, but also then, Christophe remained very transparent, even if it was just a phone call in between to say there was no news for the time being.  

Meanwhile, I am settled in at EIT Food very well and we are moving into the second phase of the ERP system implementation. I no longer supervise a team of 30 people, but I’m surrounded by very nice colleagues, and really feel that I am appreciated in my job, which I lacked before. The reorganization of my previous employer caused a turnaround, but thanks to Robert Walters I can truly say that my life has changed for the better and I feel happier than ever in my job!
