Robert Walters' annual salary survey shows that half of employees surveyed expect a pay increase of 6% or more. 50% of employers plan to give their staff both a pay rise and a bonus in 2024.
Considering that professionals in the sector stay in their jobs for an average of 2.9 years and many have not taken up a new challenge since the corona pandemic, Stephen Fournier warns of emerging labor market dynamics. He stresses that organizations should invest in motivating current employees and defining individual growth paths and training opportunities.
When attracting new talent, he advises employers to look not only at sector experience, but also at transferable skills, growth potential and personality.
