Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Manage the full accounting cycle for several Benelux entities.
• Process purchase invoices, bank transactions, payroll entries, and general ledger postings.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and execute supplier payments.
• Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, and tax-related filings.
• Support the preparation of annual accounts and audit documentation.
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Handle HR-related administrative tasks for selected entities.
• Contribute to financial projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide support on ad hoc accounting and reporting activities.

About You

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have at between 4 and 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or controlling.
• You possess solid knowledge of Belgian accounting regulations; knowledge of Luxembourg and Dutch accounting standards is an asset.
• You have experience with audits, tax compliance, and financial controls.
• You work confidently with Excel and the MS Office suite.
• You are familiar with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong advantage.
• You have a good understanding of VAT and corporate tax regulations within the Benelux region.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• You manage deadlines effectively and can prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• You work autonomously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• You take a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
• You handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.
• You explain financial data clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
