Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you will take the lead of the accounting function and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth closing processes and continuous process improvements. Your responsibilities as Accounting Manager :

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting department.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for management and stakeholders.
• Support audit processes and act as a key contact for external auditors.
• Monitor tax obligations, compliance and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with different departments to further optimise financial operations.
• Work in a SAP S/4HANA environment and contribute to ERP improvements.
• Act as a trusted sparring partner for Finance Management and support ad hoc projects.

About you :

• You have solid experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant, preferably within an industrial or production environment.
• You have strong knowledge of accounting, financial closings, reporting and compliance.
• You have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• You take ownership, work independently and have a pragmatic approach.
• You have strong analytical skills and enjoy improving processes.
• You communicate effectively and collaborate easily with different stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English is an asset.
