Production & Process Manager

Our client a mid size manufacturing company in Vlaams Brabant is looking for an interim Production and Process Manager.

Your responsibilities as an interim Production and Process Manager :

• Take on the production operations and planning
• Lead, manage and steer the current team of shift leaders and line leaders to ensure accurate and good performance, solve issues and drive performance in a constructive team-driven way. Be there for the teams, implicate them and make sure they take ownership
• Ensure the follow up and execution of certain projects
• Interact regularly with the quality team, the head of maintenance, the Plant Manager and HR to ensure communication between all parties is clear and that projects and collaboration between all parties runs smoothly
• Report to the Plant Manager
• Potentially train a high potential from the process engineering team to prepare this person to potentially take on the role of prod & Process Manager in the future

About you :

• Solid experience as Production Manager
• Enthusiastic and dynamic leadership with capacity to motivate teams, create a positive performance driven attitude where people are stimulated to take ownership and collaborate actively
• Pragmatic problem solving attitude and excellent interaction with other stakeholders in the company
• An eye for efficiency and effective management and communication
• Language skills Dutch, French, English.

Start in in the course of July and would be for an initial period of 6 months- potentially extendable.
